Since I’m starting completely fresh with this blog, I thought it would be best to introduce you to the girl who runs it. There’s a tad bit of info over on my ‘About Me’ page but to save you the time of going over there as well, I’ll run through the basics on this post. I’m Phoebe (officially Phoebe Rose in blogging terms) and I’ve created this little space to release my creativity through the likes of fashion, photography, travel and a load of other waffle that I put under lifestyle. I’m 17 going on 18 and from the infamous blogger and vlogger hometown of Brighton. Despite it being so jam-packed everyday, I really do love it here so I don’t think I’ll be moving away anywhere soon. I guess Brighton will just have to accept another blogger into the community! Now that you know all the basic stuff, let’s dive in deep and find out what TV shows I can recommend and my naive childhood dreams! Don’t hesitate to leave a comment letting me know about you and your favourite thing about blogging, let’s get a good ol’ chit-chat going!
1. What is your middle name?
It’s Rose, much to your surprise I know!
2. What is your favourite colour?
If you had asked me this about a year ago, my answer would be pretty simple. Black. Looking over at my closet now though, I’d say all bright colours are definitely winning with me at the moment! Especially red and yellow…pink too and green. Ok ok I’ll end up listing every colour under the sun, let’s move on!
3. What did you want to be when you were younger?
I was an ambitious child, to say the least! For a couple months I’d dream about being the worlds most renowned ballet dancer whilst frolicking about in a Cinderella tutu. I even managed to persuade my parents into buying the full Robert Long 50 song ballet album! I’d soon move onto something else though, like your typical Disney Channel star or world famous pop singer. I think we can all agree that being Hannah Montana was the absolute dream career!
4. What is one item on your bucket list?
Where to start…I want to do so much in my life, naturally, but I have to say that I’m quite an adrenaline junky! So anything along the lines of skydiving, bungee jumping or rock climbing in Yosemite National Park is right at the top of my bucket list! Can anyone else relate? I just love being scared, it sounds odd I can’t lie!
5. What movie have you watched repeatedly?
Notting Hill. It is the Queen of classics! I adore this film SO much and so, without a doubt, watched it over 50 times. Pretty much anything with Hugh Grant in is my guilty pleasure! Do you love any films that you find just never get old?
6. What’s one goal you would like to accomplish this year?
It’s been a tough couple years for me so I would love to end this year in the best place possible for me! I’ve recently dropped out of college to take a break and let myself recover which has lead to starting this blog. It’s important to look after yourself over anything else, you can always continue your goals later on in life! This is what I’m hoping to do by restarting college in September.
7. What’s your current obsession?
I get very emotionally involved in TV programmes and films that it’s slightly embarrassing! Currently I’m watching ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ on Netflix and wow. It. Is. Incredible. My friend Connor (give his blog a lil cheeky read – www.connxvi.com) recommended it to me so I can blame him for binge watching it for days on end! I think I might do a post on a list of film and TV recommendations for any of you who’ve recently finished your favourite series and are in need of the next one to come along!
8. Do you have any pets?
I have a sweet ragdoll kitten who is truly the most precious thing ever! Anyone who knows me can safely say that I adore cats – all animals in general really – but cats hold a special place in my heart. I’m sure if you follow me on my socials you’ll be seeing lots of his little cute face!
9. Do you speak any other languages?
Despite learning french for 12 years, sadly I’m no way near fluent! The odd sentence here and there can suffice a holiday in Paris. I would love to speak either french, italian or spanish fluently, maybe something to add to that bucket list!
10. What are your biggest fears?
I wouldn’t go as far as to say that I’m claustrophobic but being underground or in tunnels freaks me out! I remember on a school trip when I was 12 I had a full breakdown going into this tunnel activity, at least I can laugh at it now.
I’ve rambled on for probably far too long now, congratulate yourself if you made it this far! I know it’s only 10 questions but I’d hate to bore any of you, especially on my first post so I’ll leave it there for today.
Feedback comments are very welcome so feel free!
